23. Codex 23: Invectives Against John Philoponus
Read the invectives of Conon,1 Eugenius,2 and Themistius,3 against the treatise of John Philoponus, in which they pillory his vain efforts. They also violently attack him personally, as a man entirely estranged from the Christian faith. However, they agree with him in refusing to accept the decisions of the council of Chalcedon.
