Statute 32: Concerning the Prayer of Him Who Hears Instruction and His Kiss

When the teacher has finished the admonition the catechumens shall pray alone, apart from the believers. And the women shall stand in their place in the church; and the women believers shall pray alone and the women catechumens. And if the prayer is finished, the catechumens shall not kiss one another with the believers, because their kiss is not yet pure. And the believers shall kiss one another; man shall kiss man and woman shall kiss woman, and males shall not kiss females. And all the women shall have their heads veiled with a pallium or with a mantle, and not with sindon only, because this is not what is allowed to them.
