Rule 200: How Can Those Who Have Laboured Long in the Work of God Help New-comers? (R. 86)
If they are physically strong, by showing unwearied zeal, and making themselves an example of every virtue. If they are weak, by such a condition of soul that it appears from their face and every movement that they are fully convinced that they see God and have the Lord ever present. And by the marks of love enumerated by the apostle thus: Love suffereth long and is kind; envieth not, vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil; rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Love never faileth.”1 For all these things can be secured even with a weak body.
